Nearly 1.3 million New Yorkers struggle to put meals on their tables. City Harvest collects over 59 million pounds of excess food, and delivers it free of charge to soup kitchens, food pantries and other community food programs across NYC's five boroughs. Each year City Harvest reports these numbers to the New York community, raising awareness and seeking donations and volunteer support in their fight. This Annual Report documents the delivery of rescued food, the health programs benefitting New York’s poor, and the employees, volunteers and donors that make it all possible.
